The community is at 691 members, up 106 in a week. The event poll is settled: virtual beat in person 2 to 1, so the first team event will be a virtual competition. It has been one of the most requested things since the first survey.
What we built last week
- Athlete AI Weekly, issue 1: the newsletter is live. The AI, gear and science news that matters, with my take on each item
- Advanced Series: hosting: launch your first website and get your Athlete OS live and secure
- Intervals.icu setup: Claude reads your training and writes the workout straight to your watch
- Heat adaptation protocol: built from four papers after two course records fell at Badwater 135 in 118 degree heat
- HYROX beginner plan: a prompt that knows your division, your gym equipment and what you have actually been training
- Spotify Running Mode: a guide to music-based cadence training
- Was your long run fake? Aerobic decoupling, the one number that tells you whether a long run did its job
- The race predictor: why Strava and your watch never agree, and the 1977 formula they are all trying to beat
- ChatGPT Health: connect your labs, medications and visit notes alongside your training
Coming this week
- The final Advanced Series lesson: the Telegram fitness agent, which completes the free track
- An education week: running concepts in depth, and how to use AI to improve at each one
- Classroom cleanup: numbering the Athlete OS Library prompts so they are easier to track
- Event foundation: locking the structure, with a poll on what we compete on
Community notes
- Growth: 691 members, up from 585.
- Correction: Advanced Lesson 2 referred to a "coach skill." There is no separate skill. The coaching philosophy is built into your athlete profile on Day 2 of the training plan build. A member caught it and the lesson is being fixed.
- Buzz: a member suggested Jack Dorsey's Buzz as a place to connect our Athlete OS agents. I am testing it this week.
- New members: a wave of triathletes and coaches joined last week. Welcome.
