Week 5: The Team Event Poll
585 members, a recovery protocol, a Strava crown finder, and a vote on the first community event.

The community is at 585 members, up 113 in seven days. The survey keeps pointing at the same thing: people want to race, compete and meet up together. So this week's poll picks the format for the first community event.
What we built last week
- The Athlete Nap Protocol: the science-backed breakdown of napping for recovery
- KOM Hunter: a skill that finds Strava crowns you can actually take
- The first team event: a weight loss and body composition challenge, with 11 members already in
- Garmin Cirqa launch: a guide to the launch and to Garmin Connect+
- Garmin acquires TrainingPeaks: a major data play, and what it means if you train on TrainingPeaks
Coming this week
- Athlete AI Weekly launches Friday: the AI and gear news that actually matters, requested in the survey
- The Advanced Series: hosting and fitness agents
- Intervals.icu: setup and walkthrough
- More CrossFit and strength content
Community notes
- Growth: 585 members, up from 472.
- Running late: the last two Advanced Series lessons took longer than planned while I worked out how to keep them secure and free. The hosting lesson is filmed and the Telegram agent follows.
- Certification: Skool has no native way to do it, so I am still looking for the right approach.
- Build program: 40% of members want to learn to build apps, so the paid program is being retooled around building fitness apps and launches in the fall.
- Event poll: 61% want to compete together. The vote on format is open inside the community.
