Week 9: Most Miles in a Month
876 members, two teams of eight, a first sponsor, weighted scoring across four sports, and six new builds.

The community is at 876 members. Most Miles in a Month now has 16 athletes signed up, so it runs as two teams of eight covering swim, bike, run and hike. It also has its first sponsor: Maple Boost Nutrition is putting up prizes for the winning team.
How the scoring works
- Run: 1 mile = 1 mile
- Hike: 1 mile = 1 mile
- Bike: 3 miles = 1 mile
- Swim: 1 mile = 4 miles
The weighting is built on time, not distance. An hour of running, riding or swimming comes out to roughly the same number, so no sport is penalized.
What we built last week
- Connecting Claude to Zwift: pushing real workouts to it, not just talking about them
- Endorphins app updates: what changed, plus 10 prompts to run against your own training data
- Diagnosing a bad run with Claude: the run that felt terrible, and what the data says happened
- Backyard ultra training plan: built from your own history
- The beginner's guide to ultramarathons: from what counts as an ultra to the prompt that builds your first plan
- Strength training as you age: what it does for muscle health, plus a strength coach prompt that interviews you, reads the research and plans your next 90 days
Coming this week
- The wearable reporting screens: WHOOP, Garmin, COROS, Oura and Strava
- A jump height simulator
- A bike fit and aerodynamics post
- A squat form model using vision models
Community notes
- Growth: 876 members, up from 835.
- Most Miles in a Month: kicks off September 1.
- Buzz: the demo went well and the working group is opening to the rest of the community.
- Library: prompt numbering in the Athlete OS Library is done.
- Wearable screens slipped a week. They were not strong enough to publish, so they are first up now.
- Newsletter: Athlete AI Weekly moves to a monthly cadence so every issue stays worth reading.
- Strength: it is now the second biggest discipline in the community at 43.8%, ahead of cycling. This week's poll asks what to build for it.
