Week 18: Garmin Viral News Broke My Insta DMs!

Garmin opened its developer portal back up last week, and that is huge news for anyone who trains with a Garmin. You can now connect your own Garmin account to AI with your personal key. It went so viral that Meta blocked my Instagram DMs for a week.

A mini series: 7 days of things you can do with your Garmin personal key. Days 1-3 are out.

• Day 1: connect your Garmin to AI: set up your personal API key, step by step.
• Day 2: everything the personal key unlocks: what you can build once you're connected.
• Day 3: push workouts from Claude to your watch: plan the session in a chat and it shows up on your wrist.

What we built last week

• A new classroom: the community library had grown to almost 150 pages in posting order, so it's now 8 courses: Start Here, AI Training 101, the 7-Day Challenge, Advanced Athlete OS, Connect Your Data (one folder per device), the Prompt & Skill Library, Builds & Agents, and Gear & AI News.
• Garmin knows who annoys you: stress data that shows which meetings and people spike your stress. Highly humbling.
