1,226 members, the first Labs builders are in, and a weekly community call starts this week.

The doors on the 4-Week Fitness App Challenge closed Sunday night, and the founding cohort is in. Kickoff is this week.
The founding cohort is in
- Labs and the community are coming together. The Labs builders are likely joining the free Athlete AI Community, so expect a wave of new people who are building apps.
- Launch learnings are coming. What worked, what didn't and what I'd do differently, shared this week.
What we built last week
- SparkyFitness review: set up and tested, with an honest take.
- How to build your own fitness app: the step by step guide, from idea to an app on your phone.
- REA: reverse engineer any app with Claude: point it at an app you love and see how it's built.
- Anatomy: REA shows how software is built, Anatomy shows how hardware is built. Claude draws your gear as a real machine you can take apart piece by piece, so you can see what is inside a GPS watch, power meter or super shoes and what each part does.
- Post 100 of the 100 day Athlete AI series: a thank you to the community.
- 3 pieces of marriage advice: build your roots where you are, it's okay to not be in sync, and ask questions before arguing.
- 7 steps I took to save my NYC Marathon block: from an ITB flare to pain free with two weeks to go.
Coming this week
- The first weekly community call. The vote was unanimous. Bring questions, trade ideas and meet other athletes building with AI.
- Launch learnings: what worked, what didn't and what I'd change.
Community notes
- Growth: 1,226 members, up from 1,202.
- Didn't get into Labs? Come be a tester: a group of members is forming to demo and beta test the first apps the Challenge builders ship.
