Two open-source vision repos, one phone video, and a bike fit that went all green in 20 minutes.

Claude + Roboflow = Bike Fit Analyzer

I've been diving deeper into the latest vision models, and the tech coming out is next level. This weekend I wanted to see if Claude could get me an optimized bike fit using nothing but a phone video and two open-source GitHub repos.

Spoiler: it can.

The stack

Together they track every joint, draw a colored skeleton on the video (green = dialed, red = fix), and tell you the exact change to make.

Before and after: the skeleton overlay flags what's off in red and turns green once it's dialed.

What it found on me

Two things were off:

  1. Saddle a touch high.

  2. Cockpit way too closed, with all my weight on my hands. That explained the numb wrists.

I dropped the saddle 6mm, opened up my reach, and filmed it two more times. All green in about 20 minutes.

Research and a starting point, not a pro fit. But it beats guessing.
