Google's New Runner-Specific Search Mode
Google quietly launched running plans, run playlists and race-specific gear search. What works, and what's missing.

Google quietly released a runner-specific search feature, and almost no one is talking about it.
What it can do
You can now:
Create customized running and strength plans directly in the Google search bar.
Generate a custom YouTube playlist for your runs.
Search for the best gear based on your target race.
My take
Numbers 2 and 3 are pretty cool. Number 1 lacks depth. Building a plan without first understanding someone's background and context doesn't seem great. Our Athlete OS setups are far more powerful.
The prompts
I put together a set of prompts to get the most out of the new Google search for anyone who wants to play around.
